CIML

16ème Concours d'Interpretation Musicale Lausanne

What IS IT?

The CIML is a yearly competition for pianists, violinists, and cello players, up to 24 years of age. Starting in 2021, the Competition will focus on a single instrument per year.

We look for captivating performances, and prioritize musical expression over pure technique. The remarkable career achievements by several CIML prize winners are evidence of this.

Who?

The 2021 edition of the Competition will be for pianists up to 24 years of age, either of Swiss nationality, or of other nationalities, who have been living or studying in Switzerland for at least one academic year.
